For weddings, 6-12 months out — peak Saturdays in May-October fill up first. For other events, 4-8 weeks is usually fine. Last-minute (under 4 weeks) is sometimes possible — text me, I'll tell you.
Sound system, lighting, wireless mic, full setup + breakdown, pre-event playlist consult, and the actual DJing time you book. Travel within Columbus is included; outside Central Ohio I'll add a flat travel fee (always disclosed before contract).
30% non-refundable deposit secures your date. Balance is due on event day (Venmo, Zelle, or check). Deposits are credited toward the total — they're not extra.
Cancellations more than 14 days out: deposit kept, no further charge. Within 14 days: 50% of the total agreed rate. We can also reschedule (deposit transfers to the new date if available).
Yes — that's most of what I do. I MC in English and Nepali, mix Bollywood + Nepali + Top-40 + Hip-Hop in the same set, and adapt the energy curve to South Asian wedding flow (sangeet → ceremony → reception). Send me your guest mix and I'll plan accordingly.
I bring everything: speakers, subs, mixer, mics, lights, cables, table. You provide power (2 standard outlets near the booth) and a ~6x6 ft area. Outdoor events need a tent or covered booth.
Yes — I encourage it. Most couples send 20-30 must-plays + 10 do-not-plays before the event. I weave them in. Anything you forget on the day, I can pull from my library on the spot.
Always — and I'll judge whether it fits the moment. If your uncle asks for a track that'll clear the floor, I'll politely defer until later in the night. The host's vibe wins; everyone else's requests get filtered through that.
